Learning languages at Euro Centre Fang for school pupils, university students, along with adults and general interests is focused mainly on communication skills, also the grammatical lessons for language assessment tests in order to enter higher education. Learners need to do placement tests before enrolling the courses, by some conversational test with native speakers (an interview alike). Via this conversation, teachers can evaluate the skills and competences and also reactions to the surrounded environment with native speakers.
Language courses are based on Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR). Starts with the standard (A1) for non-or-low skilled learners. Classes are taught by all native speakers, and occasionally with Thai experts. However, for learners with some skills and good standard of level, teachers will prepare more detailed and advanced lesson from the level of A2 until C2.
Teaching and assessment are organised by European native speakers. Most Thai learners, particularly students are a little bit afraid of foreigners, become shy and nervous to failure. With teachers’ experiences, each class is full of international environment with friendly atmosphere. Teachers evaluate each learners’ skills together with learning, friendly conversation, which could make learners feel relaxed and not to be nervous in the class, make them feel more comfortable and can improve the skills to be better.
Furthermore, the school provides courses for test preparation which include the skills of speaking, reading, thinking, and analysing, along with principles of using languages and grammatical orders. The tests are organised by European language institutes and are widely accepted internationally for academic or professional purposes.
“Learning is not only to learn the language, but also the culture and societies of the Europeans which make you are worth of your learning.”
